Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Gosh I’m so excited to finally get these sweet potato fries up on the website!  I have no idea why I’ve waited so long, but here they finally are!  No more explaining how to make them via private message on Instagram, I can simply send you all right here to the recipe! This is one of the first recipes I mastered after getting my hubby the air fryer last Christmas, and still my favorite thing to make in it. The trick to making sweet potato fries in the air fryer is pre cooking them a bit in the microwave.  Trust me, you don’t want to skip that step. The first time I made these I just threw them right in the air fryer raw and they didn’t turn out great at all.  I also never go without the dill seasoning on my fries, it’s a must!  Here’s a snap shot of what to do, see below for printable recipe and nutritional info!Super crispy, perfect sweet potato fries in the air fryer! #stayfitmom #airfryerrecipe #airfryer #sweetpotatofries

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large sweet potato Mine was 475 grams
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Slice sweet potatoes into desired shape and size (I cut them about 1/4" thick)
  • Place in ziplock bag with oil and seasonings. Shake well to evenly coat all fries.
  • Put in a microwave safe bowl and cook about 3-4 minutes until softened a bit. (Do not cook them completely)
  • Dump into air fryer and cook 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Check and shake about every 5 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
